    El objetivo fundamental de nuestro proyecto es contar a través de un cortometraje cómo se hizo la transformación del Colegio de Educación Especial “La Purísima” de Málaga en un tipo de centro no convencional. En el proceso de reconversión del colegio se vislumbraron ideas nuevas que necesitaban de nuevos conceptos y términos. El concepto de inclusión tal y como hoy lo entendemos, traza una línea divisoria entre incluidos y excluidos y refuerza un principio de normalidad que no se correspondía con el colegio que se pretendía construir. Se debía por tanto repensar un nuevo paradigma para definir el centro que congregara a todos los alumnos sin etiquetas ni distinciones.

    El colegio fue pensado y dotado en sus inicios para alumnos con NEE, justo lo contrario que se hace cuando se construye un nuevo colegio, centro o escuela. Por ello la idea del guion del cortometraje fue solo un ejercicio de transcripción de lo que se vive en el colegio de La Purísima.

    The main objective of our project is to tell through a short film how the Special Education College “La Purísima” in Malaga was transformed into a type of unconventional center. In the process of reconversion of the school, new ideas were envisioned that needed new concepts and terms. The concept of inclusion as we understand it today, draws a dividing line between included and excluded and reinforces a principle of normality that did not correspond to the school that was intended to be built. Therefore, a new paradigm had to be rethought to define the center that would bring together all the students without labels or distinctions.

    The school was designed and gifted in its beginnings for students with special educational needs, just the opposite of what is done when a new college, center or school is built. For this reason, the idea of the script for the short film was only an exercise in transcribing what is experienced at the La Purísima school.
