Aprendiendo a investigar: propuesta de innovación en torno al trabajo final de la Licenciatura en Ciencia y Tecnología de Alimentos

    Estudios previos en torno a la problemática del trabajo final de la Lic. en Ciencia y Tecnología de Alimentos destacaron los limitados espacios en donde se promueva y ejercite el pensamiento crítico, el poco tiempo que se da en las cursadas para la alfabetización académica y la escases de prácticas donde quehacer científico se ejercite como una actividad social.

    Basándonos en estos antecedentes, el presente trabajo propone prevenir situaciones de deserción acompañando pedagógicamente a los estudiantes. La presente propuesta de innovación pedagógica incorpora al trabajo final como una parte constitutiva de la carrera y propone el desarrollo de un taller de Trabajo Final que acompañe a los estudiantes durante los últimos años de su vida académica. En este taller los estudiantes definirán el tema central de su trabajo final de grado y aprenderán las convenciones discursivas que aporten a su alfabetización académica. Se plantearán también los mecanismos para un trabajo coordinado entre el taller y las materias curriculares.

    Se busca, de esta forma, garantizar el acceso democrático al conocimiento desde el comienzo al final de la vida académica y la incorporación exitosa del reciente profesional al mundo laboral.

    Previous studies indicated that the main problems regarding the final work of the Bachelor in Food Science and Technology were the limited spaces where critical thinking is promoted and exercised, the little time that is given in the courses for academic literacy and the lack of practices in which scientific work is exercised as a social activity.

    Considering this, this paper proposes an innovation that incorporates the final work as a constitutive part of the career and suggests the development of a final work workshop that accompanies the students during the last years of their academic life. In this workshop, students will define the central theme of their final degree work and learn the discursive conventions that contribute to their academic literacy. The mechanisms for a coordinated work between the workshop and curricular subjects will also be considered.

    In this way, it is sought to guarantee democratic access to knowledge from the beginning to the end of academic life and the successful incorporation of the recent professional into working world.
