Estudiantes más sostenibles: incorporación de la agenda 2030 al aprendizaje servicio

    En septiembre de 2015, y en el marco de Naciones Unidas, los líderes mundiales adoptaron el documento “Transformando nuestro mundo: la Agenda 2030 para el Desarrollo Sostenible”. En la base de la Agenda 2030 se sitúan los 17 Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) y sus 169 metas. Las universidades tienen un papel fundamental para lograr el cumplimiento de los ODS. El aprendizaje-servicio es un método para unir el aprendizaje con el compromiso social. Es aprender haciendo un servicio a la comunidad. Por ello esta metodología es una herramienta muy útil para la alinear la educación hacia los ODS, para convertir la sensibilización en compromiso. El objetivo de este trabajo es mostrar distintas actividades realizadas en el Máster de Ingeniería Química y en el Grado de Gastronomía y Artes Culinarias de la Universidad de Alicante, en las que se ha empleado el aprendizaje servicio y la incorporación de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible, con el fin de mejorar la conciencia medioambiental del alumnado. Para la evaluación de estas actividades se ha empleado la metodología de evaluación entre iguales.

    In September 2015, and within the framework of the United Nations, world leaders adopted the document “Transforming our world: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development”. At the base of the 2030 Agenda are the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and their 169 targets. Universities play a fundamental role in achieving compliance with the SDGs. Service-learning is a method of linking learning with social commitment. It is learning by doing a service to the community. For this reason, this methodology is a very useful tool for aligning education towards the SDGs, to convert awareness into commitment. The objective of this work is to show different activities carried out in the Master of Chemical Engineering and in the Degree in Gastronomy and Culinary Arts of the University of Alicante, in which service learning and the incorporation of the Sustainable Development Goals have been used, in order to improve the environmental awareness of students. For the evaluation of these activities, the student peer evaluation methodology has been used.
