Humor en el Festival de Viña del Mar (2000 a 2019): ¿barómetro del estallido chileno?

    De acuerdo con diferentes enfoques en Ciencias Sociales y Humanidades, el humor cumple roles específicos a nivel social: presentar y destacar los temas relevantes de la coyuntura y servir como agresión aceptable cuando se percibe abuso de parte de quienes están más arriba en la jerarquía social. Basados en estas ideas, en este estudio realizamos un análisis emocional y de contenido temático de 73 rutinas cómicas presentadas en el Festival de Viña del Mar en Chile entre los años 2000 y 2019. Con ello, buscamos evidenciar de qué forma el humor fue un reflejo del malestar social que se acumuló en esos años y que se expresó en el llamado estallido social del 18 de octubre de 2019. El análisis de palabras y texto evidenció que desde inicios del nuevo milenio hubo un descenso sistemático y estadísticamente significativo de la presencia de emociones positivas y un aumento de las negativas.

    According to different Social Sciences and Humanities approaches, humor has distinctive social roles. Two of them give it a particular function: to present and highlight the relevant topics of the conjuncture and to serve as a way of acceptable aggression when abuse by elite. Based on this idea, carried out an emotional and thematic analysis of comic routines presented at the Viña del Mar Festival in Chile between 2000 and 2019. With this, we seek to determine if there was evidence in them of the social unrest that manifested in the country on October 18, 2019, through the so-called "social outbreak." The analysis showed that since 2000 there has been a systematic and statistically significant decrease in the presence of positive emotions and an increase in negative emotions, specifically anger, and that those negative emotions related to the presence of topics related to justice.
