      Objetivo. Comparar la satisfacción con el uso Odonto App Kids en escolares de unidades educativas privadas y públicas de la ciudad de Riobamba, provincia Chimborazo, Ecuador. Métodos. A field investigation was developed, with a quantitative approach and experimental design, of a pre-experimental type, whose population was made up of 111 children from the basic education level of educational institutions in the city of Riobamba. Data was collected through a survey to measure levels of satisfaction and usability. The non-parametric inferential tests Wilcoxon W and Mann-Whitney U made it possible to compare the variables according to the type of institution. Resultados. Se observó un predominio de escolares encuestados se enmarcó la usabilidad de Odonto App Kids en la categoría de alto (44,2%); mientras que, los resultados de la satisfacción se pudo apreciar un predominio del nivel medio (52,3%). Los valores de comparación fueron: U de Mann-Whitney (1481), W de Wilcoxon (3434) y Z (-0,227) con un p=0,821. Conclusiones. No statistically significant differences were established between those enrolled in private educational entities with respect to those from public ones.

      Objective. Compare satisfaction with the use of Odonto App Kids in schoolchildren from private and public educational units in the city of Riobamba, Chimborazo province, Ecuador. Methods. A cross-sectional descriptive observational study was developed, whose population consisted was made up of health professionals (N=1551) who work in the health institutions of the municipality. The data was collected through the document review technique, considering the information stored in the databases of the regulatory body. The non-parametric inferential chi-square test made it possible to compare the frequency distributions of the variables from the association due to non-homogeneity. Results. A predominance of schoolchildren surveyed classified the usability of Odonto App Kids in the high category (44.2%); while, in the results of satisfaction, a predominance of the medium level could be seen (52.3%). The comparison values were: Mann-Whitney U (1481), Wilcoxon W (3434) and Z (-0.227) with p=0.821. Conclusions. The scientific potential of the System of Science and Technological Innovation in Health in the municipality of Sagua la Grande has characteristics that favor the generation of products that have an impact on health care services.
