    Con la llegada del plan europeo de convergencia educativa Bolonia, la licenciatura se transformó en grado, el proyecto de fin de carrera se transformó en un trabajo fin de grado, TFG, y la duración se redujo de seis a cinco años. El nuevo Grado de Arquitectura es el único trámite necesario para acceder a un sexto año materializado en el Master Habilitante en Arquitectura: único medio existente para adquirir las habilitaciones de la anterior licenciatura. Mediante un estudio pormenorizado de la información relativa a los TFGs de la Escuela Técnica de Arquitectura de Madrid, se pretende descubrir el significado de ser graduadx en Fundamentos de la Arquitectura, pero no ser arquitectx. Extrayendo del repositorio público de la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid todos los datos disponibles, se construye una base datos lo suficientemente extensa como para, mediante técnicas de análisis y visualización de datos, poder redefinir el ejercicio de la arquitectura.

    During the Bologna European education plan, the degree became a Superior Degree, final thesis project became a thesis research and the university education period was reduced from six to five years. That Superior Degree in Architecture is the only requirement to access the sixth year and “complete” the process by finishing the Master in Architecture: the only education program to acquire the competencies of the previous degree. Through a detailed metadata study from the final thesis of the Polytechnic University of Madrid Architecture faculty, it pretended to discover the meaning of being graduated in the Superior Degree of Architecture, but not being an architect. An extensive database is built by extracting all the available data from the public repository of the Polytechnic University of Madrid. Thanks to data analysis and visualization techniques the exercise of architecture can be redefined.
