Resumen de Instituciones formadoras de educadores: Transformaciones y práctica pedagógica

  El presente artículo tiene como objetivo presentar algunos avances del proyecto de la estancia posdoctoral en la Universidad Federal de Ouro Preto, en Minas Gerais, Brasil sobre “La Universitarización de la formación de maestros. De la Escuela Normal a la Universidad”. El texto pretende resolver los siguientes interrogantes ¿Cuáles han sido los cambios de las instituciones formadoras de educadores, sus saberes y sus prácticas? ¿Qué es ser educador en un mundo tan cambiante y diverso? ¿Cuál es el rol transformador de las instituciones formadoras? La propuesta se inscribe en la investigación histórica en la línea historia de las instituciones educativas y su abordaje se realiza a partir del análisis documental. Entre los hallazgos se encuentran que el educador es reconocido como un profesional que ejerce su labor como formador tanto desde lo humano como desde lo disciplinar, la estructura organizativa de las instituciones formadoras de educadores ha cambiado, sin embargo, algunas prácticas persisten, y el educador como agente transformador lidera diversos procesos cuyos resultados no se evidencian fácilmente debido a la poca sistematización y divulgación de las experiencias.

  The objective of this article is to present some advances of the postdoctoral stay project at the Federal University of Ouro Preto, in Minas Gerais, Brazil titled “The Universitarization of teacher training. From the Normal School to the University”. The text tries to solve the following questions. What have been the changes of the educator training institutions, their knowledge, and their practices? What is it like to be an educator in such a changing and diverse world? What is the transforming role of educator training institutions? The proposal is part of historical research in the history of educational institutions and its approach is carried out from documentary analysis. Among the findings are that the educator is recognized as a professional who exercises his work as a trainer both from the human point of view and from the disciplinary point of view, the organizational structure of the Educator training institutions has changed, however some practices persist, and the educator as transforming agent leads various processes whose results are not easily evidenced due to the little systematization and dissemination of experiences.
