  • Resumen
    • A study is presented on an innovative experience of good practices carried out in an inclusive choir and understanding as such an open space where all its members participate in equal opportunities, regardless of their uniqueness, taking into account the diversity cohesion and social inclusion of its participants. Inclusion as a principle to understand education and society as well as the transmission of cultural values. People with and without functional diversity participate in the choir and express themselves in a multimodal way, that is, with the voice, body language and Spanish Sign Language (LSE). The main objective of the study has been to know and detect the perception of social inclusion of people with and without functional diversity who participate in the activities of an inclusive choir. A case study with a mixed approach has been carried out. Participant observation and the adapted questionnaire of the Inclusion Evaluation Scale (IEI) have been used for centers and services with people with disabilities (Gutiérrez-Ortega et of. 2019). It is verified that the people who participate in an inclusive choir, in which music is the mediation tool, perceive a high level of inclusion where they develop feelings of belonging to the group, where diversity equality and the promotion of people are respected.
