Agenda de investigación sobre la Historia de las universidades en las revistas de historia de la educación en Web of Science (2020-2022)

    Resumen: El objetivo de este artículo es establecer una agenda de investigación para el estudio de las universidades, a través de la revisión de los trabajos sobre historia de la educación superior en 6 revistas especializadas de historia de la educación. Para ello, se revisó el catálogo de indexación Web of Science a través de la utilización de operadores booleanos y filtros de antigüedad - de los últimos 3 años de publicación y del área de investigación educativa. Se inició la búsqueda en 989 artículos sobre la materia en estudio, la que concluyó con 39 artículos, y la revisión de las 6 revistas de historia de la educación que habían publicado la mayor cantidad de artículos de investigación sobre la Universidad. En los resultados se evidencia la importancia que fueron adquiriendo los estudios sobre la Universidad desde una perspectiva histórica, y la necesidad de repensar la vinculación que se establece entre la sociedad y las instituciones de educación superior como un espacio fundamental para la democratización del conocimiento y la regeneración del tejido político, ya sea dentro o fuera del sistema democrático liberal.

    Abstract: The objective of this article is to establish an investigative agenda regarding the research about universities, through a systematic revision of the papers about history of universities in six magazines especialized in history of education. To achieve it, the indexation catalog of Web of Science was revised through the use of boolean operators and some filters, such as the period (not older than 3 years) and education as the investigative area. This revision was started with the research of 989 articles about the topic, and after the application of the filters 39 of them qualified, through the revision of six magazines containing most of the articles about the study of the universities. In the results, the importance of studying in a more advanced level the university from an historical perspective is evidenced, as well as the necessity of rethinking the links between the universitary institutions and the society as a vital space for the purpose of democratizing the knowledge and the regeneration of the political structures, either from inside or outside the liberal democratic system.
