Goi mailako hezkuntzako erakundeek gero eta konpromiso handiagoa dute desgaitasuna duten ikasleen inklusio prozesuekin. UPV/EHU neurri inklusiboak bultzatzen ari da 2003. Urtetik, desgaitasuna edo premia bereziak dauzkaten pertsonentzako arreta bermatzen duen zerbitzua bultzatuz. Ondorioen arabera, premia bereziak dauzkaten ikasleentzat goi mailako hezkuntza gero eta irisgarriagoa bada ere, kolektibo hori urrun dago maiz oraindik zifra optimoak lortzetik enpresetako lanbide praktikei dagokienez.
