    Este trabajo tiene por objetivo delimitar la extensión y el funcionamiento del sufijo -ejo como apreciativo en España. Dado que se trata de un uso dialectal, se realizará una revisión de obras prescriptivas y de la nomenclatura toponímica española para analizar su trayectoria diacrónica. A partir de los datos de los atlas y corpus lingüísticos y de twitter, se fijará su distribución geográfica y semántica, y su alomorfia. Por último, en vista de que en La Mancha se usa de forma más frecuente, se examinará su relación con el sufijo -ete, con el que parece estar en distribución complementaria.

    The aim of this work is to delimit the extension and functioning of -ejo as an appreciative suffix in Spain. Since it involves a dialectal use, a review of prescriptive works and of works about the Spanish toponymic nomenclature will be carried out in order to analyze its diachronic trajectory. Using data from linguistic atlases and corpora, and from X/Twitter, its geographical and semantic distribution and its allomorphy will be established. Finally, given that it is more frequently used in La Mancha, its relationship with the suffix -ete, with which it seems to be in complementary distribution, will be examined
