    Los clubes sociales en las provincias de Colombia representaron la influencia de las migraciones del siglo XIX y las estrategias de diferenciación social promovidas por elites locales durante el siglo XX. La investigación sobre el Club del Socorro tuvo como objetivo representar los orígenes y consolidación de esa organización social centenaria a la par de reiterar los estatutos y prácticas de sociabilidad en un contexto local andino. Para tal fin, fue empleado el método histórico de contraste documental de fuentes primarias (documentales, orales) y secundarias y el método de interpretación histórica contextual, que conllevó a concluir que los imaginarios y vestigios de una historia institucional mediada por normas de prestigio y honor están directamente relacionadas con la adecuación y disfrute de espacios de interacción privilegiada acorde con los clubes capitalinos.

    The social clubs in the provinces of Colombia represented the influence of the migrations of the 19th century and the strategies of social differentiation promoted by local elites during the 20th century. The research on the Socorro Club had the objective of representing the origins and consolidation of this centenary social organization at the same time as reiterating the statutes and practices of sociability in a local Andean context. For this purpose, the historical method of documentary contrast of primary (documentary, oral) and secondary sources and the method of contextual historical interpretation were used, which led to the conclusion that the imaginaries and vestiges of an institutional history mediated by norms of prestige and honor They are directly related to the adaptation and enjoyment of privileged interaction spaces in accordance with the capital’s clubs
