    Este texto tem por objetivo refletir sobre a dimensão da afetividade na formação histórica. Para tanto, serão discutidos os conceitos de sentido histórico e formação histórica a partir da obra do teórico da história Jörn Rüsen, bem como a ênfase desse autor na dimensão emocional dos processos de constituição de sentido histórico. Depois, serão apresentadas considerações sobre a dimensão sensibilidade e do sentimento nos campos da história e da educação, a partir de discussões sobre os temas na historiografia, na educação e no ensino de História. Por fim, se discutirá a importância da dimensão afetividade na formação histórica, particularmente no contexto da história escolar.

    This paper aims to reflect on the dimension of affectivity in historical formation. To this end, the concepts of historical meaning and historical formation will be discussed based on the work of the theorist of history Jörn Rüsen, as well as this author's emphasis on the emotional dimension of the processes of constituting historical meaning. Afterwards, we will consider the dimension of sensitivity and feeling in the fields of history and education, based on discussions on themes in historiography, education and teaching of history. Finally, the importance of the affectivity dimension in historical formation will be discussed, particularly in the context of school history.
