Resumen de Tensiones de un centro comunitario: análisis desde la psicología comunitaria en Chile

  A través de un estudio de caso con base en observaciones, entrevistas y un grupo focal, este artículo describe las tensiones de una organización colectiva que se independiza de una organización no gubernamental en un emergente centro comunitario de la Región de Valparaíso de Chile (quinta región); relacionando dichas tensiones a la subjetividad de psicólogo comunitario que se construye en tal contexto. Los resultados muestran una primera tensión disciplinaria, que se refiere al papel de la psicología en el centro comunitario, y una segunda tensión política, que analiza la función social del centro y el voluntariado como mecanismo para esa función.

  Through a study case based on observations, interviews and a focus group, this article seeks to describe the tensions that arise in a collective organization, which becomes independent of a non-government organization in an emerging community center in the region of Valparaiso, Chile (fifth region). This tensions are related to the subjectivity of the community psychologist which is constructed in said context. The results show an initial disciplinary tension, which refers to the role of the psychology in the community center and a second political tension, which analyzes the social function of the community center and the volunteer work as mechanism for that function.
