    Este artículo presenta el desarrollo y la implementación de una estrategia activa apoyada en las tecnologías de comunicación e información, que facilita el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje entre maestros y estudiantes en el aula. Esa estrategia se enfocará específicamente en aquellos estudiantes que están tomando cursos de matemáticas en los diferentes programas académicos de la Universidad Católica Popular del Risaralda. El objetivo principal de este proyecto es que los estudiantes mejoren sus conocimientos sobre esta área y desarrollen las competencias mínimas relacionadas con el tema. Como se menciona en el Plan Nacional sobre tecnologías para la comunicación y la información, “el uso de estas tecnologías ha cambiado las costumbres sociales y la forma en que las personas interactúan. Han mejorado las oportunidades para muchas personas tradicionalmente excluidas, y la movilidad social se ha incrementado. Estas tecnologías también han cambiado la forma en que las personas aprenden y el papel de los maestros y estudiantes. También ha demostrado que el proceso de aprendizaje no puede medirse en términos de tiempo, debe desarrollarse a lo largo de la vida de cada persona ".3 Es importante señalar que las tecnologías de comunicación e información son un recurso para mejorar la práctica docente. , pero teniendo en cuenta al ser humano. Esta es la razón por la cual, la metodología propuesta se basa en la ética institucional y los principios educativos, mirando hacia adelante la teoría pedagógica, la práctica pedagógica y el uso de tecnologías de comunicación e información aplicadas para el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje de las matemáticas, contribuirá a conseguir Como resultado, los estudiantes que se convertirán en personas.

    This article presents the development and implementation of an active strategy supported on the technologies for communication and information, which make it easier the teaching and learning process among teachers and students in the classroom. That strategy will befocused specifically on those students who are taking mathematics courses in the different academic programs at Universidad Católica Popular del Risaralda. The main objective with this project is that the students improve their knowledge about this area and develop the minimal competences related to the subject.

    As it is mentioned in the National Plan on technologies for communication and information, “the use of these technologies has changed the social customs and the way people interact. They have improved the opportunities for many people who were traditionally excluded, and the social mobility has been increased. These technologies have also changed the way people learn and the role of teachers and students. It has also demonstrated that the learning process cannot be measured in terms of time, it must be developed along the life of each person”.

    It is important to remark that technologies for communication and information are a resource for the improvement of the teaching practice, but taking into consideration the human being. This is the reason why, the methodology proposed is based on the institutional ethic andeducative principles, looking forward pedagogic theory, pedagogical practice, and the use of technologies for communication and information applied for the teaching and learning process of mathematics, will contribute to get as a result, students who will become people, professionally and capable people.
