Analisis financiero con la perspectiva Dupont para la toma de decisiones empresariales

    El propósito fundamental de esta investigación fue realizar un análisis financiero con la perspectiva Dupont para la toma de decisiones empresariales, para lo cual se considera como caso de estudio la Empresa PORTOAGUAS E.P; cuyos periodos de evaluación de la información financiera correspondieron a los años 2020 y 2021. De esta manera, mediante la aplicación de rateos financieros se cuantificó la situación real de la empresa en cuanto al manejo de sus datos financieros. El estudio fue de campo documental, con enfoque analítico, tomando como base la información contenida en el Estado de Situación Financiera y de Resultados. En este sentido, se utilizaron instrumentos como la entrevista efectuada al Gerente General y un cuestionario estructurado, el cual fue aplicado a un total de 10 servidores que forman parte del área financiera de la empresa. De los resultados obtenidos, se pudo determinar que la gestión institucional ha permitido un crecimiento financiero significativo del 60%; el mismo que se ve reflejado en la inversión de infraestructura física y tecnológica que ha tenido la entidad. Además, los indicadores de rentabilidad demostraron una variación de 4.46% respecto a la utilidad, en relación con los años evaluados; así como también una baja rotación de activos debido a las recaudaciones que presenta.

    The fundamental purpose of this research was to carry out a financial analysis with the Dupont perspective for business decision making, for which the Company PORTOAGUAS E.P. is considered as a case study; whose financial information evaluation periods corresponded to the years 2020 and 2021. In this way, through the application of financial ratios, the real situation of the company in terms of the management of its financial data was quantified. The study was a documentary field study, with an analytical approach, based on the information contained in the Statement of Financial Situation and Results. In this sense, instruments were used such as the interview carried out with the General Manager and a structured questionnaire, which was applied to a total of 10 servers who are part of the financial area of the company. From the results obtained, it was determined that institutional management has allowed a significant financial growth of 60%; the same that is reflected in the investment in physical and technological infrastructure that the entity has had. Furthermore, the profitability indicators demonstrated a variation of 4.46% with respect to profit, in relation to the years evaluated; as well as a low asset turnover due to the collections it presents.
