Wanting to promote the physical activity of people with intellectual disabilities, in 2018 begins thesports project “Taekwondo sin límites” adapting the taekwondo training sessions to this group. As happenedwith all sports activities, during the state of alarm, in confinement taekwondo face-to-face trainings ceased and,given the need to continue with the physical activity developed by these people, new formulas were soughtto train in a non-presential way. Objective. To continue with the physical activity of people with intellectualdisabilities by designing an innovative experience of virtual taekwondo (TKD) training through Instagram,eTKD. The structure of the face-to-face sessions: warm-up; main part with displacements and basic taekwondotechniques and stretching, is now adapted to the online context. Method. 13 young people with intellectualdisabilities perform 12 weeks of eTKD. To evaluate the eTKD sessions, on the one hand, observation of thevirtual sessions by the trainer and on the other hand, qualitative online surveys to the legal guardians of theparticipants were carried out. Conclusions. In general terms, all participants trained without difficulties and allof them made a positive evaluation of the development of the experience.
