    Los recientes estudios con perspectiva de género que han analizado los fenómenos migratorios han determinado que las mujeres jóvenes ocuparon un lugar principal como agentes del éxodo rural. El presente estudio intenta abordar cómo fue sentida y entendida la llegada de población rural femenina a las grandes ciudades como Madrid durante la década de los años veinte, Para ello, se toma como fuente principal la revista femenina Las Subsistencias (1926-1929) en la que se expresan a través de los lenguajes feminista los códigos y normas emocionales de las clases urbanas. Estos lenguajes denotan un “miedo físico” a las nuevas clases subalternas contribuyendo igualmente a su estigmatización.

    Recent studies with a gender perspective that have analyzed the migratory movements have determined that young women were the main agents of the rural exodus. The present study attempts to explore how the arrival of the female rural population to the big cities such as Madrid during the 1920s was felt and understood. To this end, the main source is the women's magazine Las Subsistencias (1926-1929), in which the emotional codes and norms of the upper classes are expressed throughfeminist languages. These languages denote a "physical fear" of the new subaltern classes, also contributing to their stigmatization.
