    Mi siguiente entrevistada es Ingeniera de Telecomunicaciones por la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid y doctora en Inteligencia Artificial (IA) por el Instituto Tecnológico de Massachusetts (MIT). Es académica de numero de la Real Academia de Ingeniería, académica correspondiente de la Academia de Ingeniería de México y Doctora Honoris Causa por la Universidad Miguel Hernández.

    Posee más de 25 años de experiencia en investigación en las áreas de modelado y predicción del comportamiento humano a partir de datos, la interacción persona-ordenador, la Informática móvil y la Inteligencia Artificial para el Bien Social. Ha sido investigadora en Microsoft Research (Redmond, WA); la primera mujer directora científica en Telefónica I+D, durante más de 8 años; y la primera directora de investigación en Data Science en Vodafone a nivel global (2017-2019). Desde hace dos años, dirige la Fundación ELLIS Alicante, una fundación pionera en nuestro país, impulsada por la Generalitat Valenciana y dedicada a la investigación en Inteligencia Artificial ética, responsable y para el Bien Social. Forma parte de ELLIS, la red europea de excelencia científica en IA.

    My next interviewee is a Telecommunications Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and holds a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence (AI) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). She is an elect member of the Royal Academy of Engineering, corresponding academic at the Academy of Engineering of Mexico, and holds an Honorary Doctorate from the Miguel Hernandez University.

    With over 25 years of research experience, her work focuses on modeling and predicting human behavior from data, human-computer interaction, mobile computing, and Artificial Intelligence for Social Good. She has been a researcher at Microsoft Research (Redmond, WA), the first female Chief Scientist at Telefónica I+D for more than 8 years, and the first Director of Research in Data Science at Vodafone globally (2017-2019). For the past two years, she has been leading the ELLIS Alicante Foundation, an organization promoted by the Valencian Government dedicated to research in ethical and responsible Artificial Intelligence for Social Good. The foundation is part of ELLIS, the European network of scientific excellence in AI.
