Este artículo se enfoca en la representación de lo virtual como una dimensión de la “realidad” a través de la exploración de nuestra relación con lo viral en un contexto de crisis. El artículo discute lo virtual como una forma de relación ecológica en el actual contexto de constantes crisis. El articulo estudia este difuso y elusivo objeto desde la creación de objetos estéticos que buscan producir estructuras de movimiento entre lo “material” y lo “virtual”. Mediante la transferencia y transformación de objetos e imágenes desde las esferas materiales y digitales, se discute las propiedades representacionales de los nuevos medios digitales de realidad extendida que van más allá de lo visual; una dimensión que involucra la indexicalidad del cuerpo y, en particular, la forma en la cual sentimos y nos afecta el mundo.

This article focuses on the representation of the virtual as a dimension of the “reality”through the exploration of our relationship with the viral. It is discussed the virtual as a form of ecological relationship in the current context of constant crises. The article studies this diffuse and elusive object from the creation of aesthetic objects that seek to produce structures of translation between the “material” and the “virtual”. Through digital andmaterial transformations of objects and images, the article disusses the representational properties of the new digital means of extended reality that go beyond the visual; A dimensionthat involves the indexity of the body and in particular, the way we feel and are being affected by the world.
