El proceso de construcción de un hábito lector en futuros docentes

    En el contexto de una significativa desafección por la lectura entre los estudiantes universitarios, se presenta este trabajo que demuestra la situación actual entre los futuros docentes de Educación Infantil y Primaria, que debieran tener adquirido este hábito lector como competencia profesional. En este marco, se plantea partir de la raíz del problema, fijándose como objetivo formar profesionales de calidad en la sociedad del siglo XXI. Estos han de tener criterio para valorar y seleccionar libros en el aula. Además de que puedan guiar y orientar en su labor docente los procesos de comprensión, interpretación y animación. Para ello, se articula como vía un proyecto de innovación interdisciplinar e intercampus en la Universidad de Granada, que busca el desarrollo de un intertexto lector personal adecuado, mediante lecturas vinculadas no solo a tópicos literarios, sino también a temas de otras áreas del currículo (Historia, Matemáticas y Ciencias Experimentales), siguiendo una metodología activa y participativa. Entre los principales resultados esperables, se destacan el aumento del espectro de lecturas de los estudiantes de estos Grados y el posible logro de despertar su interés por la lectura desde distintas áreas de conocimiento, así como la concienciación de su futura labor como mediadores de lectura

    In the context of a significant disaffection for reading among university students, the presented work shows the current situation among future training teachers of the Bachelor’s Degree in Pre-School and Primary Education, who should have acquired this reading habit as a professional competence. Within this framework, it is proposed to start from the root of the problem, setting it as an objective to train quality professionals in 21st century society.

    These trainers should have some criteria to evaluate and select books in the classroom. In this way, they can guide and orient in their teaching work the processes of understanding, interpretation and animation. To this end, it is articulated as a way of interdisciplinary and intercampus innovative project at the University of Granada. This project seeks to develop an appropriate personal reading intertext, through readings linked not only to literary topics, but also to topics from other areas of the curriculum (History, Mathematics and Experimental Sciences), following an active and participatory methodology. Among the main expected results, we can highlight the increase in the reading spectrum of the students of the Bachelor’s Degree above mentioned and the possible achievement of awakening their interest in reading from different areas of knowledge, as well as the awareness of their future work as reading mediators
