    En las pinturas tradicionales de los letrados, las imágenes, los iconos verbales de los poemas y la imagen de la escritura transmitida por la caligrafía se integran manteniendo su triple origen diverso. El movimiento de las líneas representa la «forma viva». La mezcla de agua y tinta, es decir, la cooperación de tinta y pincel, produce un rico efecto visual y también establece una estrecha conexión entre palabra e imagen, emoción y forma. Desde el punto de vista del arte occidental y de la reflexión estética, en estas páginas se seleccionan pinturas de tinta representativas para analizar las relaciones entre los tres. A la vez, se mencionarán algunas teorías y principios teóricos occidentales que permitirán profundizar en la comprensión del arte tradicional chino.

    In traditional literati paintings, the images, the verbal icons of the poems and the image of the writing transmitted by the calligraphy are integrated maintaining their triple diverse origin. The movement of the lines represents the «living form». The mixing of water and ink, that is, the cooperation of ink and brush, produces a rich visual effect, and also establishes a close connection between word and image, emotion and form. From the point of view of Western art and aesthetic reflection, representative ink paintings are selected in these pages to analyze the relationships between the three. At the same time, some Western theories and theoretical principles will be mentioned that will allow a deeper understanding of traditional Chinese art
