Reencuadernando y ayudando a niños de la escuela Benigno Bayancela de Loja‐Ecuador

    El principal propósito al elaborar este proyecto fue darlecontinuidad a los trabajos que se han venido realizando en laEscuela Benigno Bayancela, ubicada en un sector vulnerable de laciudad de Loja, y, al ser una institución fiscal, no cuenta con todoel equipamiento necesario para las clases que se imparten en susaulas y menos aún para generar un ambiente adecuado para losmomentos de receso, recreación y entretenimiento. Es así que,desde años anteriores, se ha estado trabajando con los estudiantesde la Titulación de Artes Plásticas y Diseño UTPL y la comunidadde la escuela, para despertar aptitudes positivas, generar unambiente agradable con recursos, como el mural con el cual sepretendía que los niños se sientieran identificados con su entornode cotidianidad, así como las otras propuestas que fueronrealizadas en beneficio de toda la comunidad académica de lainstitución. En esta ocasión, se va a trabajar nuevamente con losestudiantes en el desarrollo de actividades enfocadas a lareutilización de hojas útiles de los cuadernos usados en añosanteriores, para que posteriormente los miembros de lainstitución puedan aprovechar los procesos realizados por losestudiantes universitarios de la Titulación de Artes Plásticas yDiseño, y así aprovechen los recursos sin tener que desecharlos.Estas actividades se planifican semestralmente con losestudiantes que cursan el nivel de Gestión Productiva 2.2 de laTitulación de Artes Plásticas y Diseño, que en este periodocorrespondía al semestre abril–agosto 2020. Para ello se procedióa determinar primeramente los alcances, pues por losinconvenientes de aislamiento producidos por la pandemia no sepudo trabajar directamente con la comunidad, pero se consiguiógenerar procesos introductorios de diseño de portadas y deconstrucción de prototipos para la posterior producción masivade libretas o cuadernos en los siguientes periodos académicos, enlos que ya se pueda trabajar con la comunidad de la institución.Esto se debe coordinar con la directora de la Escuela BenignoBayancela, para que los padres de familia y niños aprendan areutilizar las hojas útiles de los cuadernos de años anteriores yvolver a armar nuevos cuadernos, y, de esta manera, beneficiarseal punto de no tener que comprar tantos cuadernos para elsiguiente año lectivo, reduciéndose el gasto económico, lo quepara estas familias es algo muy importante.

    The main need to develop this project was to give continuity tothe work that has been carried out at the Benigno BayancelaSchool located in a vulnerable sector of the City of Loja and, beinga fiscal institution, it does not have all the necessary equipmentfor classes that are taught in their classrooms and even less tocreate a suitable environment for moments of recess, recreationand entertainment; Thus, since previous years we have beenworking with students of the UTPL Plastic Arts and DesignDegree and the school community, to awaken positive skills,generate a pleasant environment such as the mural with which itwas intended that children feel identified with their everydayenvironment, as well as the other proposals that were made forthe benefit of the entire academic community of the institution,this time we will work again with the students in thedevelopment of activities focused on the reuse of useful sheets ofthe notebooks used in previous years, so that later the membersof the institution can take advantage of the processes carried outby the university students of the Plastic Arts and Design degreeand thus take advantage of the resources without having todiscard them.These activities are planned semester with the students whostudy the level of Productive Management 2.2 of the Degree inPlastic Arts and Design, which in this period corresponded to theapril ‐ august 2020 semester, for which the scope was firstdetermined; Because of the isolation problems produced by thepandemic, it was not possible to work directly with the community, but it was possible to generate introductoryprocesses of cover design and prototype construction for thesubsequent mass production of notebooks or notebooks in thefollowing academic periods in the Which can already be workedwith the community of the Institution, which must becoordinated with the Director of the Benigno Bayancela school, sothat parents and children learn to reuse the useful sheets ofnotebooks from previous years to reassemble new onesnotebooks and thus benefit at the time of not having to buy somany notebooks for the following school year, reducing theeconomic expense that these families find it difficult to obtain.
