In a postmodern culture, where the grand narratives are distorted, relativism and multiple truths are established as the main elements of transformation with respect to socialisation and individual and collective practices that lead to the construction of the human being's identity. Supported by a globalised context, it promotes the proliferation of hedonistic attitudes in search of personal pleasure through hyper-individualised tendencies. In this sense, ICTs are no longer a means to propagate contemporary individualism, but are appropriated as a culture that, in itself, drives the individualist phenomenon to the point of becoming platforms for public showcases. Ideal spaces in which to consume and present information about what we are, what we want or what we appear to be. It is necessary to rethink the role of pedagogy in a context where the virtual is equated with the analogue and where contemporary individualism is increasingly reproduced with greater force, without the opposition of pedagogical approaches adapted to a society made up of hedonistic people.
It advocates the development of a post-critical pedagogy that, with the appropriation of technology as culture, and a post-modern composition with modern overtones, enables the correct development of individualisation and socialisation in order to combat the contemporary individualism present in society.
