This qualitative research, with characteristics of research-intervention, aims atinvestigatingthe potential of a training action supportedby task analysis on numbers and operations, guided by the perspective of the professional community, for the professionaldevelopment of early-grade Mathematics teachers. The study involves a group of five teachers, with synchronous actions in small groups (task analysis) and large group (collective discussion), with the support of the Google Meet platform, from the perspective of a professional community. Transcripts of the audio recordings of the meetings and the written records of the teachers are the data used, and the analysis follows as stages of interpretative studies. The results suggest clues of professional development when teachers:put themselves in the place of students and think about theirdifficulties and motivations; they value sharing knowledge and experiences; identify the importance of different visions for knowledgedevelopment; they discuss the task nature as a possibility of thinking about mathematics and defend the permanence of the group and itsteachers who teach mathematics identity. The focus on practice, dialogical context of the community, and the tasks nature tasks are identified as favorable aspects, whose active, collective, and reflective participation in the actions carried out by the teachers to (re)think their professional practice, envisioning possibilities for change.
