La didáctica del inglés. Revisión de programas sobre bilingüismo

    En la sociedad globalizada, el inglés se impone como el idioma de comunicación internacional. Tras la implantación del modelo bilingüe AICLE hace 15 años, aún hay desconfianza de la comunidad educativa acerca de la adecuación del bilingüismo; además, desde el hogar han de ser parte de este proceso de aprendizaje y no todas las familias están capacitadas para ello. Esta investigación estudia la intervención educativa bilingüe de inglés analizando y comparando, mediante una metodología mixta, 14 programas seleccionados con el método PRISMA. Los resultados muestran que no todos los programas se estructuran adecuadamente, que los objetivos que plantean son principal-mente el aprendizaje del inglés y de otras materias aplicando diversidad de metodologías, aunque no siempre logran los objetivos, y destaca que la participación de las familias es anecdótica. El estudio realizado saca a relucir las carencias de estos programas y la necesidad de que se incluya activamente a las familias.

    In the globalized society, English becomes the language of international communication. After the implementation of the CLIL bilingual model 15 years ago, there is still mistrust from the educational community in regard to the adequacy of bilingualism. Furthermore, they must be a part of this learning from home, a task which many families are not able to carry out. This research studies the bilingual educational intervention of English, analysing and comparing through a mixed methodology 14 programs selected with the PRISMA approach. The results show that most programs are not structured appropriately, being the main objectives proposed the learning of the English language and of other subjects applying diverse methodologies, although they do not always accomplish the objectives, stressing that the participation of the families is anecdotic. The study that has been carried out highlights the weaknesses of these programs and the necessity of including families actively in their development.
