    Con el artículo “Teoría del Currículo Mínimo y su relación con el Proyecto Curricular de Centro Educativo” queremos proponer una discusión académica sobre una doble problemática que enfrenta el proceso de elaboración y actualización del Currículo Escolar actual.  Por un lado, la opción teórica y de racionalidad curricular con la cual se orientan los componentes sistémicos del cambio de Planes y Programas de Estudio, en la Reforma de la Educación Nacional.  Por otro lado, entender lo que son los procesos de construcción social de estos Planes y Programas de Estudio en la actual realidad del cambio de paradigm asocioeconómico y cultural en Chile.  De la articulación de ambos componentes sistémicos resulta la propuesta de Proyecto Curricular de Centro, de cuyo proceso elaborativo derivamos los elementos conceptuales que, a nuestro entender, nos permiten configurar una eventual Teoría Crítica del Currículo Mínimo.

    With this “Teoría del Currículo Mínimo y su relación con el proyecto Curricular de Centro Educativo” (“Theory of the Minimal Curriculum and its Relationship with the Curricular Project of the Educational Center”) we set out to propose an academic discussion over the analysis an the conceptual evolution of the curricular tendencies or theoretical rationalities, from the standpoint of a paradigmatic dispute, with the productive and constructive practices of the curriculum at the Educational Center. In order to make progress in this analysis, we have used an empirical bibliography based on the documents underlying the relationship between the Minimal or Basic Curricular Framework, prepared by the central technical policymaking authorities of the Ministry of Education (both in Chile and Spain), and the specific teaching practices developed at the Educational Center. Putting together both systemic components results in the proposal of the Center Curricular Project from whose organizational process we draw the conceptual elements which, we believe, enable us to give shape to an eventual Ctitical Theory of the Minimal Curriculum.
