    Las ciudades, como todo lo que posee vida,respiran en ritmos ascendentes y expansivos seguidosde ritmos descendentes y contractivos. Este pulso marcaal individuo que habita en ellas, que como tal sobrevive ypor su naturaleza social nutre a la ciudad. Normalmente, elhombre como individuo piensa y cree pensar por si mismo;por el contrario, el hombre en su identidad social piensa enred y actúa en grupo.Cada ciudad posee un sello identificativo que,en sus orígenes, marca el núcleo y dota de sentido alreagrupamiento. La identidad es mantenida o modificadasegún van surgiendo nuevas necesidades, que se vangenerando en los distintos sistemas de valores y niveles deconsciencia que conviven o perviven en el mismo espacio;no sólo los cambios se atisban a nivel físico, también yfundamentalmente a nivel psíquico. La ciudad es pornaturaleza gerundiva o dicho de otra forma: va siendo loque va siendo.Una serie de patrones, algunos visibles y otros sólocognoscibles por sus efectos o síntomas, actúan al unísonoy a veces con dispares resultados dentro de la sociedad.El arte, actúa en ocasiones generando avisos delcambio de un patrón no visible a través de obras que,como luceros en la noche, señalan un punto vital delcambio o una línea todavía no discernible hacía donde sedesencadenará ese punto rotor.

    Cities, as everything that lives, breathe withascending and expanding rhythms, followed by descendingand contracting rhythms. This pulse marks the individualthat lives in those cities, which as such survives and feedsthe city by his social nature. Usually, man as an individualbelieves that he thinks by himself; on the contrary, man inhis social identity thinks in a networked way and acts aspart of a group.Each city has an identifying seal which, originally,sets the nucleus and gives sense to the group. The identityis sustained or modified as the new needs arise, needsthat are generated from the several value systems andconscience levels which live together and endure in thesame space; the changes are seen not only on a phisicallevel, also and fundamentally on a psychic one. The city isgerundive by nature, or in others words: it will be what willbe.Several patterns, some of them visible and someonly cognizable through their symptoms and effects, worktogether and some times with mixed results within society.Art acts ocasionally generating warnings about achange on an invisible pattern through works which, ascandles in the night, signal a vital point in that change or aline still not perceptible towards that rotor node will unleash.
