The aim of this paper is to analyse and comment on examples of stereotyped formulae (formulismos).According to Taranilla (2014, p. 33) those are “expressions that are repeated withlittle variation and are routinised in a given context” that can be found in Spanish judgments,and more particularly, in the decision of ruling (fallo). For the purpose of the study we haveanalysed fifteen Spanish criminal judgments and the same number of Spanish civil judgements.Additional goal of this work is to offer possible solutions related to the translation ofthese constructions into Polish.
