    Georges L. Bastin es profesor titular en la Universidad de Montreal (Canadá) en el área de Traducción, dentro del Departamento de Lingüística y Traducción. Es un experto en historia de la traducción en América Latina, un pedagogo muy implicado en la transmisión del conocimiento al alumnado y un investigador incansable. El profesor Bastin dirige la prestigiosa revista científica META.     Georges L. Bastin is a full professor at the University of Montreal (Canada) in the Department of Linguistics and Translation. He is an expert in the history of translation in Latin America, a pedagogue deeply involved in the transmission of knowledge to students and a tireless research-er. He is the editor of the prestigious scientific journal META. In this interview, he gives his point of view on the questions raised, which revolve around the training of translation students and the content and improvements that could be implemented
