Ecoestética, naturaleza y arte contemporáneo

    El presente artículo forma parte de un proyecto de investigación que lleva por título Ecoestética y tiene como objetivos: 1) hacer una revisión histórica de la relación dominante de la humanidad sobre la naturaleza a partir de los orígenes de la  filosofía moderna; 2) examinar la noción de lucha o competencia entre mundo y tierra en la estética de Martin Heidegger como un planteamiento que se distancia de la riña y de la discordia; 3) observar las características de las obras de arte contemporáneo que se hicieron en el campo abierto planteando nuevas relaciones entre arte y naturaleza a partir del movimiento artístico Land art; 4) comprender las características de las obras de arte que utilizan seres vivos como medio artístico o bioarte; 5)  delimitar el concepto de ecoestética aplicado a obras de arte que establecen una relación armónica con el medio ambiente y no competitiva con la naturaleza para, finalmente; 6) aplicar los conocimientos del presente estudio a la producción artística, dando como resultado la elaboración y emplazamiento de dos instalaciones ecotemáticas elaboradas por los integrantes del Cuerpo Académico Arte y Contexto de la Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo en la ciudad de Pachuca, México, en el año 2022.

    Para alcanzar los objetivos, la metodología empleada fue la hermenéutica a través de los siguientes pasos: entendimiento y delimitación del problema, recopilación de bibliografía especializada y todo tipo de referencias bibliográficas para su interpretación y análisis, y finalmente,  aplicación de lo comprendido a la producción o creación artística, dando como resultado dos instalaciones in situ: Cama-nido de Julia Caporal y El borde de la modernidad de Miguel Ledezma, co-autores del presente artículo, las cuales se abordan al final.

    This article is part of a research project entitled Eco-aesthetics and aims to: 1) make a historical review of the dominant relationship of humanity over nature from the origins of modern philosophy; 2) examine the notion of struggle or competition between world and earth in Martin Heidegger's aesthetics as an approach that distances itself from quarrel and discord; 3) observe the characteristics of contemporary art works that were made in the open field, proposing new relationships between art and nature from the Land art artistic movement; 4) understand the characteristics of works of art that use living beings as an artistic medium or bioart; 5) delimit the concept of eco-aesthetics applied to works of art that establish a harmonious relationship with the environment and not competitive with nature to, finally; 6) apply the knowledge of this study to artistic production, resulting in the development and placement of two eco-theme installations made by the members of the Academic Body Art and Context of the Autonomous University of the State of Hidalgo in the city of Pachuca, Mexico, in the year 2022.

      To achieve the objectives, the methodology used was hermeneutics through the following steps: understanding and delimitation of the problem, compilation of specialized bibliography and all kinds of bibliographic references for its interpretation and analysis, and finally, application of what was understood to the production or artistic creation, resulting in two site specific installations: Nestbed by Julia Caporal and The Edge of Modernity by Miguel Ledezma, co-authors of this article, which are addressed at the end.
