Los brazaletes de piedra constituyen uno de los adornos personales más numerosos y característicos delNeolítico Antiguo en el mediodía peninsular. Las investigaciones sobre su tecnología de elaboración han puestode manifiesto la relevancia cuantitativa y cualitativa de este tipo de adorno. La documentación de yacimientosarqueológicos donde se producen permite argumentar la existencia de diferenciados talleres distribuidos por elSur de la Península Ibérica. Estos contextos productivos ofrecen información sobre la tecnológica de elaboración ysocioeconómica de los grupos que los producen. En este trabajo se exponen algunas características generales deestos contextos y las implicaciones socioeconómicas que supone su presencia y distribución territorial
The stone bracelets are one of the numerous and characteristic personal ornaments of Ancient Neolithic inthe South of the Iberian Peninsula. Researches on processing technology of stone bracelets have demonstratedthe relevance quantitative and qualitative of this type of ornament. The documentation of archaeological siteswith bracelets in process of manufacturing, we can argue about the existence of different workshops distributedthroughout South and Southeast of the Iberian Peninsula. These contexts provide information technological andsocio-economic about groups that produce them. In this paper we attempt to set out some general features ofthese contexts and the socio-economic implications resulting from their presence and geographical distribution.
