    El objetivo de este artículo consiste en profundizar en la especificidad que ofrece la traducción a otros idiomas de una obra traducida por el autor desde una primera lengua a una segunda lengua. El problema más importante es la elección del texto de partida, pues se puede optar entre el texto primigenio, el texto autotraducido o ambos a la vez. En esta ocasión, se aborda el obstáculo que representa en concreto que el autor haya vuelto a traducir la obra desde la segunda lengua a la primera lengua por medio de una retroautotraducción. Como exponente ilustrativo, se analiza la novela A sombra cazadora, del narrador gallego Suso de Toro, escrita en gallego, traducida después al español y trasladada finalmente desde el español al gallego.

    The objective of this study is to delve into the specificity offered by the translation into other languages ​​of a work translated by the author from a first language into a second language. The most important problem is the choice of the source text, since one can choose between the original text, the self-translated text or both at the same time. On this occasion, we address the specific obstacle represented by the fact that the author has retranslated the work from the second language into the first language by means of a back-self-translation. As an illustrative example, we analyze the novel A sombra cazadora, by the Galician narrator Suso de Toro, written in Galician, later translated into Spanish and finally rendered from Spanish into Galician.
