    El objetivo de esta investigación es analizar el uso de las tabletas como recurso motivador para el aprender inglés. En cuanto al método, en este estudio participaron 16 alumnos de 11 años de sexto de educación primaria de un centro de actuación educativa preferente de la Región de Murcia. Se diseñó un estudio cuasi-experimental con medidas pre-test y post-test. Los análisis estadísticos mostraron un aumento significativo en la motivación extrínseca de los alumnos. Como conclusiones, se determina que el contexto sociocultural de los participantes haya podido influir en los resultados y ampliar esta investigación a una muestra mayor de participantes.

    The objective of this research is to analyse the use of tablets as a motivating resource for learning English. Regarding the method, sixteen 11-year-old students from the sixth grade of primary education from a preferred educational action school in the Region of Murcia participated in this study. A quasi-experimental study with pre-test and post-test measures was designed. Statistical analyses showed a significant increase in the children’s extrinsic motivation. As conclusions, it is determined that the sociocultural context of the participants could have influenced the results and extend this research to a larger sample of participants.
