Resumen de Les polítiques de patrimoni inmaterial: entre la gestió cultural, la recerca i el museu

La Convenció sobre el Patrimoni Immaterial de la UNESCO ha posat sobre les agendes governamentals la necessitat de gestionar, d’una manera o altra, el PCI. I això planteja nombroses qüestions i dubtes sobre com hem de gestionar el PCI. Aquest article —després d’una reflexió sobre els usos econòmics, socials, polítics i turístics del PCI— planteja la gestió del PCI des del punt de vista de la gestió cultural, de la recerca i de la pràctica museística. S’assenyalen els diversos models de gestió pública, des dels basats en una política integrada de patrimoni fins als basats en una política diferenciada. Les polítiques de gestió del PCI presenten una gran diversitat i operen en camps molt diferents, però es plantegen algunes recomanacions per a aquestes polítiques, com que la gestió del PCI sigui integrada, combinant-se en la mesura de les possibilitats amb la preservació del patrimoni material; el paper fonamental dels museus, sobretot dels locals, com a organismes de gestió del PCI, i les formes per adoptar per fer polítiques de recerca participatives. S’insisteix també en la necessitat de fer present el PCI als mèdia i l’àmbit educatiu, i també es presenten fórmules per contribuir a la seva sostenibilitat com a garantia d’una millor preservació.

The Convention on Intangible Cultural Heritage of UNESCO has put on the governments’ agenda the need to manage, one way or another, the Intangible Heritage Therefore, this raises many questions and concerns about how we manage the ICH. This article -After some thought about the economic, social, political and touristic use of the ICH- poses the ICH management from the point of view of cultural management, research and museum practice. It points out the various models of public management, from those based on a heritage integrated policy to those based on a differentiated policy. The ICH management policies are highly diverse and active in different fields, but some recommendations for these policies are raised, such as ICH’s management being integrated, combining itself, when possible, with the preservation of the material heritage; the fundamental role of museums, especially the local ones, as ICH management institutions and ways to adopt participatory research policies. Also, insists on the need to put the ICH into the media and education, and also presents ways to contribute to its sustainability as a guarantee for better preservation.
