  • In this article we describe the Battery of Tests for Solving Practical Problems (BHS-PP) as applied to mentally retarded persons. This battery is composed of three tests which evaluate the capacity of the mentally retarded person to analyze problem situations, to generate spontaneous solutions and to make decisions when presented with a series of alternatives.
