Resumen de Operar com números positivos no GeoGebra: implicações didáticas

In this article, the exploration of various numerical operations with GeoGebra is studied and discussed, as well as the application of some of them to create graphical representations of functions. Specifically, using the GeoGebra dynamic geometric environment, the operations of addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and the square root are explored in the set of positive numbers, and the operations of multiplication, division and the square root are applied to the definition of graphical representations. Once the numerical operations have been explored, an analysis of the mathematical objects involved in these operations is carried out, highlighting the following three dimensions: 1) enumeration of the mathematical objects involved in each operation; 2) the relationships between operations and mathematical objects; 3) and application of these relationships to establish the complexity of operations.

Neste artigo estuda-se e discute-se a exploração de várias operações numéricas com o GeoGebra, bem como a aplicação de algumas delas para criar representações gráficas de funções. Especificamente, recorrendo ao ambiente geométrico dinâmico GeoGebra, exploram-se, no conjunto dos números positivos, as operações de adição, subtração, multiplicação, divisão e a raiz quadrada, e aplicam-se as operações de multiplicação, divisão e a raiz quadrada à definição de representações gráficas. Uma vez exploradas as operações numéricas, realiza-se uma análise dos objetos matemáticos intervenientes nessas operações, destacando-se as três seguintes dimensões: 1) enumeração dos objetos matemáticos intervenientes em cada operação; 2) as relações entre as operações e os objetos matemáticos; 3) e aplicação dessas relações para estabelecer a complexidade das operações.
