    This article aims to present the analysis of the experience reports of a student from of youth and adult education (EJA) in a vocational secondary education institution. The analysis focused on the issues related to the school context that is, the disciplines that were cited by the studied student, as well as the teacher-student relationship. We also analyzed, primarily, the answers given in relation to the subjects of Physics and Mathematics. The methodology used was the case study and the instruments for data collection were a semi-structured questionnaire and oral interview, in person. The results obtained helped us to map the role of EJA in the emancipation of the subjects.   It was concluded that there was a social rescue of the researched student that generated opportunity in social life and the exercise of the right by the laws that governing EJA in Brazil.

    Este artigo tem por objetivo apresentar a análise dos relatos de experiência de uma aluna da educação de jovens e adultos (EJA) em uma instituição de ensino médio profissionalizante. As análises tiveram como foco as questões ligadas ao contexto escolar, as disciplinas que foram citadas pela aluna pesquisada, bem como a relação professor-aluno. Analisou-se ainda, prioritariamente, as respostas dadas em relação as disciplinas de Física e de Matemática. A metodologia seguida foi o estudo de caso e o instrumento para coleta de dados em um primeiro momento foi um questionário semiestruturado e no segundo momento utilizou-se a entrevista presencial. Os resultados ajudaram a mapear o papel da EJA na emancipação dos sujeitos. Conclui-se que houve um resgate social da aluna pesquisada que gerou oportunidade na vida social e o exercício do direito pelas leis que regem a EJA no Brasil.
