    • The article deals with Multimedia based education, which uses spontaneity, clarity and functionality in the teaching process, so our aims are to integrate the electronic form of lexicology content into the preparation of future teachers of Slovak language and literature. The main task is to innovate the education of future Slovak teachers by creating a corpus of didactically transformed lexicology elements in electronic form with the support of the Applied Informatics Department. By creating a proven methodology of multimedia curriculum of Slovak lexicology, teachers in pre-gradual education could use their time more economically in their preparations and naturally develop their students' digital and media literacy that is also necessary in their future teaching profession. The reason for creating and implementing multimedia curriculum of Slovak lexicology to higher education is a number of advantages in the education of the future teachers of Slovak language and literature, focusing on interaction, increasing of attention, interdisciplinarity, clarity, improving the level of acquired language competences, pragmatic character of knowledge and the way of its design and fixation. The language subsystem of Slovak lexicology will be adopted by the future teacher more effectively in a form that is didactically transformed, illustrated, exemplified or visualized.
