The concealment of women’s history leads to a lack of documentary records of the journalistic praxis in which the pioneers of feminism in the Dominican Republic engaged. In order to re-construct the actions of the subjective rights that led to the achievement of the vote in 1942, a re-examination is made of the magazine Fémina(1922-1939) through intertextualities threaded with the “discursive markers” created from the suffragette reforms
