    Esta propuesta el hilo conductor que existe entre la adaptación o reinterpretación de los mitos grecolatinos y su recepción a través de las traducciones. Son fenómenos marcados por la naturaleza de la actividad lectora, por los cánones ideológicos vigentes y por el paso del tiempo, que marcan decisivamente las adaptaciones, las reinterpretaciones, así como la naturaleza de las traducciones. Para estudiar las diferencias y similitudes entre los conceptos arriba mencionados hemos seleccionado un lapso temporal ―el de las dos guerras mundiales― y una tradición específica: el teatro francés de tema mitológico escrito durante estos años. El desarrollo empírico de nuestro estudio nos ha permitido conocer a fondo la recepción de las obras mitológicas seleccionadas en España, y reflexionar sobre su pasado y su futuro desde las perspectivas del sector editorial y del arte escénico.

    This paper analyses the common thread between the adaptation or reinterpretion of Greco-Roman myths and the reception process through translations. All these concepts are influenced by the nature of reading activity, by the prevailing ideological canons and also by passage of time. These parameters decisively map out the nature of adaptations, reinterpretations and translations. In order to study the differences and similarities between these concepts we have selected the time span between the two world wars and a specific literary tradition: the french mythological theatre. The reception of these authors in Spain will be accurately described in the empirical chapter and the conclusions focus on the future perspectives from the point of view of the publishing industry and the performing acts.

    Ce travail établit un rapport entre l’adaptation ou la reinterprétation des mythes et leur réception à travers les traductions. Tous ces concepts, définis par les procédés de lecture , sont marqués par le moment historique. On se propose de décrire les différences et les similitudes entre adaptation, réinterprétation et traduction en choisissant une période de temps déterminée ―les entre-deux-guerres― et la tradition du théâtre mythologique en France. Le développement empirique de notre recherche nous permet de connaître en profondeur la réception du théâtre mythologique français de cette période en Espagne, ce qui nous donne l’opportunité de réfléchir sur son passé et sur son avenir, du point de vue du secteur editorial et de la perspective de la scène.
