  El presente artículo aborda la, no siempre sencilla, distinción y articulación de funciones entre la, más general, del Compliance Officer y la propia del Data Protection Officer. Para ello, se exponen brevemente los contornos que delinean a ambas figuras, para seguir abordando cómo se relacionan entre ellas y, por último, cómo debe articularse su actividad en el seno de los contratos celebrados por parte de las Administraciones Públicas.

  This article focuses on the, not always simple, distinction and articulation of functions between the more general role of the Compliance Officer and that of the Data Protection Officer, which is intertwined with the former. To do so, it briefly outlines the contours that delineate both figures, to continue addressing how they relate to each other and, finally, how their activity should be articulated within the contracts entered into by Public Administrations.
