Resumen
- Dry and wet sieving were applied to different compound feeds for intensively reared beef cattle. The main difference between the two methods was the proportion of small particles (<0.15 mm, behaving like solutes) which was much higher when the wet method was applied. It is speculated that those particles may adhere to bigger particles and that they may detach in aqueous environments, those prevailing in the digestive tract of the animals. Solubilization of bigger particles is also possible when the wet sieving method is applied.
