  • Resumen
    • The seventh art has run parallel to the development of the different themes and problems in which the human has been developing throughout the 20th and 21st centuries. The filmic analysis allows a diachronic approach to different social realities and their various treatments throughout the decades. By this we mean that cinema is a mimetic reflection of feelings and the latency of past, present and future problems typical of each era. Over recent years, cinema in the school environment has played a fundamental role in addressing different issues and visualizing and raising awareness of problems. The present work intends an analysis of the persistence of cultural and ideological constructions based on heteronormativity, giving visibility to the gender problem and its visual expression over the years until today. Throughout the history of cinema there has been a considerable evolution in the way of approaching this subject. In the big Hollywood productions, from their beginnings until practically the 1980s, homosexuals were portrayed in stereotypical ways or in the roles of ruthless murderers or suicidal deranged. Based on this analysis, it will seek to promote inclusive and non-discriminatory educational policies in order to guarantee the right to education.
