    La investigación tuvo como objetivo describir cómo las herramientas tecnológicas de simulación y su ausencia en el proceso de Enseñanza Aprendizaje, afectan la integración de contenidos para el desarrollo de competencias y habilidades de desempeño del tercer año de Bachillerato, de la Unidad Educativa “Alfredo Pérez Guerrero”, durante el período académico 2021 – 2022.  Se trabajó con un enfoque mixto y se empleó la encuesta como técnica. La población estuvo representada por estudiantes del tercer año de bachillerato, paralelos: A, B, C, D, E y el técnico de la especialidad de sistemas. En el estudio, se evidenció que la institución cuenta con recursos tecnológicos, pero no se logran las metas planteadas en su totalidad, por ende, se hace necesario implementar la metodología activa de simulación para mejorar esta realidad. Como conclusión, se destacó que al relacionar lo teórico-práctico, el aprendizaje se hace receptivo y promueve el desarrollo integral del individuo.

    The objective of this research was to describe how technological simulation tools and their absence in the teaching-learning process affect the integration of contents for the development of competencies and performance skills in the third year of high school at "Alfredo Pérez Guerrero" Educational Unit, during the academic period 2021 - 2022.  The mixed approach and the survey were used. The population was represented by students of the third year of high school, parallel: A, B, C, D, E and the technician of the systems specialty. The study showed that the institution has technological resources, but the goals set are not fully achieved; therefore, it is necessary to implement the active simulation methodology to improve this reality. As a conclusion, it was highlighted that, by relating theory and practice, learning becomes receptive and promotes the individual’s integral development.
