    • Teaching awards and innovation funds have been a part of the higher education for severaldecades. After years of funding projects and giving awards, institutions want to know if they arechanging the perception of the importance of university teaching and how should they be designed topromote not only individual and team competences but also a systematic development of the learningculture in the organisation as well as the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL). The contributionfor the conference will review the literature on teacher awards and innovation funds; show evidenceof their transfer in the improvement of individual, collective and institutional teaching and learningprocesses, and will illustrate with examples strategies used by innovation fonds and teaching awards tofurther develop institutional collaboration and SoTL
