    Les monnaies gauloises à la croix ont récemment fait l’objet d’importantes études cette dernière décennie. Il apparaît pourtant un nouveau type de monnaie à la croix épigraphique qui fait l’objet de cette note. Il s’agit de monnaies dont l’inscription pourrait se lire AVROS mais probablement incomplète. Nous intégrons ce type monétaire inédit au sein du monnayage à la croix en considérant les masses observées et la typologie.

    Gallic coins with the cross have been studied a lot this last decade. Nevertheless, a new type of epigraphic coins with cross appeared in the south of France. The inscription would be AVROS but it is likely to be incomplete. We integrate this new monetary type within the “with cross” coinage by considering the masses and the typology.
