    En este proyecto se pretende analizar las percepciones del alumnado universitario en tornoal uso del lenguaje. Su correcto uso constituye un elemento importante para el desarrollode la igualdad de género. Cuestionamos que, en la docencia universitaria, el lenguaje estéexento de carga sexista, manifestándose más en unas ramas de conocimiento que en otras eincluso perpetuándose el masculino genérico en algunas en concreto. Para ello, se analizarápor un lado, el grado de importancia que se le da al lenguaje en las diferentes ramas deconocimiento, y por otro, la identificación de manifestaciones sexistas en expresiones de usocotidiano, así como las barreras para un uso no sexista del lenguaje. La metodologíaempleada se basa en encuestas y entrevistas en profundidad. Participan en la investigacióndiferentes grupos de distintas titulaciones de la comunidad académica pertenecientes a laUniversidades andaluzas de Málaga y Sevilla. Nos centraremos en el alumnado, aunque porsupuesto también será investigadoel profesorado. Tras el análisis preliminar realizado alalumnado, se refleja un uso extendido del masculino genérico. De esta manera, pretendemosreflejar la realidad del lenguaje imperante en el ámbito universitario, ya que por su misióneducativa y socializadora conforma un espacio central de actuación y, por consiguiente, serreferente en el empleo del lenguaje, en aras de la inclusión e igualdad social.

    This project aims to analyze the perceptions of university students about the use oflanguage. Its correct use constitutes an important element for the development of genderequality. We question that in university teaching, the language is free of sexist charge,manifesting more in some branches of knowledge than in others and even perpetuating thegeneric male in some in particular. To do this, we will analyze, on the one hand, the degreeof importance that is given to language in the different branches of knowledge and, on theother hand, the identification of sexist manifestations in expressions of daily use, as well asthe barriers for a non-sexist use of the language. The methodology used is based on thesurvey and interview. Different groups of different degrees of the academic communitybelonging to the Andalusian Universities of Malaga and Seville participate in the research,we will focus mainly on the students, although of course the teaching staff will also beevaluated. After the preliminary analysis made to the students, an extended use of thegeneric masculine is reflected. In this way, we intend to reflect the reality of the prevailinglanguage in the university environment, since for its educational and socializing mission itforms a central space of action and therefore to be a reference in the use of language, for thesake of inclusion and social equality.
