    La motivación incide en el aprendizaje del inglés, ya que la motivación impulsa el interés del estudiante, quien inicia una acción para el logro de las metas, sumándose la carencia de educadores especializados en lengua extranjera con niveles de alto de conocimiento en inglés. Por lo que, la investigación tiene por objetivo establecer la relación de la motivación para el aprendizaje del idioma inglés y el rendimiento académico de estudiantes del nivel secundario de la UGEL San Román 2021. El estudio corresponde al enfoque cuantitativo, método hipotético – deductivo y la técnica aplicada es la encuesta e instrumento el cuestionario. Concluyendo que, De la investigación podemos señalar que la motivación para el aprendizaje del idioma ingles se encuentra relacionado de manera directa - negativa en el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes, el cual se refleja en el rendimiento académico regular de los estudiantes del nivel secundario de la UGEL San Román 2021.

    Motivation affects the learning of English, since motivation drives the interest of the student, who initiates an action to achieve the goals, adding the lack of educators specialized in foreign language with high levels of knowledge in English. Therefore, the research aims to establish the relationship between the motivation for learning the English language and the academic performance of students at the secondary level of the UGEL San Román 2021. The study corresponds to the quantitative approach, hypothetical - deductive method and the The applied technique is the survey and the instrument is the questionnaire. Concluding that, From the investigation we can point out that the motivation for learning the English language is directly related - negatively in the academic performance of the students, which is reflected in the regular academic performance of the students of the secondary level of the UGEL San Roman 2021.
