Resumen de La automotivación en estudiantes de bachillerato para la continuidad de estudios en la educación superior

  En el  presente estudio se determinan los índices de automotivación hacia una carrera de nivel superior tanto en estudiantes del sector rural como del sector urbano  con el propósito de resolver las inconsistencias que presentan  las estrategias motivacionales  de los estudiantes de bachillerato previo a su ingreso a la universidad para ello se identificaron  los niveles de inteligencia emocional, como resultado se obtuvo  un déficit general en el indicador “Automotivación” hacia la continuidad de estudios en la Educación Superior. Atendiendo a los resultados obtenidos, se establecen   relaciones entre automotivación, vulnerabilidad económica familiar, y necesidad de supervivencia.

  Los resultados muestran que las familias tienen implicaciones educativas en la automotivación de sus hijos hacia el estudio de una carrera universitaria, considerándose que para romper con esas ataduras se requiere de una educación de mayor calidad en el Bachillerato.

  In the present study, the self-motivation indices towards a higher level career are determined both in students of the rural sector and the urban sector with the purpose of solving the inconsistencies presented by the motivational strategies of the students prior to their admission to the university. the levels of emotional intelligence were identified, as a result a general deficit was obtained in the indicator "Automotivación" towards the continuity of studies in Higher Education. Based on the results obtained, relationships are established between self-motivation, family economic vulnerability, and the need for survival. The results show that families have educational implications in the self-motivation of their children towards the study of a university career, considering that in order to break these ties, higher quality education is required at all levels of education, especially in the upper middle.
